It’s just Gundam Markers and time. You can do this too. In fact, I encourage it. Everyone should build GunPla and post it here. Even if you don’t feel confident in your build. You don’t have to enter into the GBWC, just have fun.

You don't even need Gundam Markers. Regular water-based acrylics often work fine. Just make sure that they stick to plastic. If they're marked as "multi-surface" you're usually fine.

For instance, this and this were both primarily brush-painted with acrylics from Michael's, and the parts that weren't were done either with a set of metallic acrylic markers that I bought on Amazon or a 10-pack of paint tubes that I bought at the dollar store. Just make sure you thin your paints before using them and apply multiple coats. Fortunately, you can thin them with ordinary tap-water.

For metallic colors, Sharpies also work surprisingly well.

What kind of wing variant is that second one?

Looks good. I have this guy in the backlog, but not sure when I'll get to it.

It was an interesting build. You can see the design similarities with the GAT series but it builds totally different. Lots of gimmicks that were new to me
