What does the red shield icon mean? (slrpnk.net)

When someone has the blue OP or green M or red A by their username, hovering over the icon shows what it means, but this is not the case for the red shield. What does it mean?

Moderators can mark posts as "official" to make it more clear that they are talking as a moderator and not just participating in a discussion as a regular user. Which is what I did with this post.
