I don't see issue with tights in public, I see it all the time. I don't think it really expresses any level of sexuality or orientation.

I come from a backwards village where I got into a fight with a neonazi because he called me and my bf the f-slur. Now the neonazi avoids me or is polite when he has to be around me such as at a village function.
