vote collusion

First came their much-analyzed Oval Office moment. Next, their subject-to-interpretation hug.

The two interactions between President Donald Trump and a sometime antagonist, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, reflect the Democratic governor’s efforts to move past last year’s hard-fought campaign and find common ground with the Republican president — at risk of political backlash.

Whitmer, a potential 2028 presidential candidate, shared a hug with Trump as he arrived in her home state on Tuesday, less than a month after she shielded her face from cameras during an Oval Office appearance alongside Trump.

Already redeeming Trump lmao. She is totally going to use this in her messaging “Trump doesn’t hate me! See? Us democrats aren’t so bad!”

Said it before and I’ll say it again, Democrats are the political equivalent of Team Rocket. They’re comic relief antagonists that deep down kind of like the main character who destroys them over and over and only really relevant to get destroyed and show off how cool the main character is.

If a bunch of Qanon lunatics created a big conspiracy to assassinate me I would probably be a bit more hesitant about cozying up to the Qanon president, but whadda I know I'm no future failed presidential candidate
