Ditch Amazon and big tech. Consume less in general. Do more with what's on hand. Repair instead of replace.

Not everyone has the skills to do the above, so volunteering time to help others do this can help too.

More aware and cautious of what I buy / subscribe too. Cancelled all american run online stuff (amazon, netflix, etc.). Joined CBC Gem (and pay a subscription) in the hopes that maybe more content can be created. I also avoid American websites as much as it's reasonably possible; which is kind of easy for me anyway since I don't surf much anyway.

So, I pretty much only look to buy and participate in Canadian only stuff and European stuff.

We started quoting some products in CAD rather than USD even if the manufacturer prices in USD. Previously we'd quote in USD so our quotes wouldn't fluctuate with currency conversions.
