Reddit is purging NSFW subs as well as trans-related subreddits
And a screenshot of the post on Reddit, from which the meme is quoting:
Brace for Rexxit 2.0. This is not drill! Granted, most of the Redfugees will be going to Lemmynsfw (I helped by dropping a link in, we'll see if that lasts) but as long as we get them out... I suppose you could call it missionary position work.
Hopefully LemmyNSFW and Blahaj can handle the additional traffic. Reddit's loss, our gain.
It feels like the porn bans may be misdirection - it's the quiet shanking during the prison riot you have to keep an eye out for:
First they came for r/Discuit...
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world online platforms he didn't exist they didn't need nsfw content
No booba
“Missionary position work” is brilliant, btw.
what's a reddit? is this like myspace?
I wondered where some of my favourite Reddits had gone. Luckily they returned, now I can get back to discussing and sharing serious topics with other people online in a civilised manner.
Looks around cautiously
unzips 🤣
Was a glitch according to an admin. They are restoring the subs.
Im probably going to regret this but what is r/rule34?
Looks like as of a few minutes ago the bans are being undone?
Does anyone wank to threats to US president? or is that too pervy for interwebs?
Olympus? Babylon, at best.
