Individual sh.itjust.works users can block instances and communities, and mods can ban hexbear users that break community rules. I'm not convinced that defederation is needed (yet), but open to being proven otherwise.

Yes, SJW is for concentrated Reddit Brains only and anyone who doesn't "Bazinga" the dumbest shit ever and/or has ever read a book in it that didn't contain magic or dragons is going to destroy that wonderful sense of hyper-Reddit culture and "intellectualism" that I need to feel like I'm in a group of my peers. Most of us are here because we're too big of losers for even Reddit and only came here because our favorite apps were removed that made it harder to manage my 4 "throwaway" accounts I needed because even with complete anonymity I'm still (rightfully) ashamed to be known as myself.

Nay, for now. I have to believe open discussion is good and healthy for the larger ecosystem. I support blocking individual offenders and communities as needed, and perhaps the instance should revisit this question after 30 days minimum.

Why can't you dorks just stay in your own lanes. Read the instance you're on and don't deliberately be a dickwad against some viewpoint you don't fully understand
