You are missing something here. FTA "Alarmo will also let users check Records to get data on how much they move around while sleeping." You are paying to have a device in your kids room that will monitor their actions and report back to Nintendo. I am sure they will be completely transparent with what they do with that data.
As anyone who's set a song they like as their morning alarm will know, this is the fastest way to start loathing that song. It's actually funny as fuck that Nintendo is about to take decades of good memories associated with their sounds and music and turning that into resentment from their biggest fans lmao.
