Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In - dreadful title but cracking kung-fu film that definitely had Kung-fu Hustle vibes. One of my favourite films of the year.

The Proletariat Trilogy by Finnish film director and screenwriter Aki Kaurismäki:

Shadows in Paradise (1986), Ariel (1988), The Match Factory Girl (1990).

Kalki 2898, A.D. was INSANE, I'm looking forward to the sequel. Anatomy Of A Fall was pretty good too. There are other international films I've watched like La Bete and The Zone Of Interest, but I wasn't as impressed by them.

Kalki 2898, A.D. was INSANE, I’m looking forward to the sequel.

I was sitting in the cinema about an hour in thinking "I don't think this is for me" as there was too much low quality "humour" and ropey CGI, then they started mixing in mythology and ramping it all up so, after it finished, I was messaging people telling them to watch it. Can't wait for the sequel.
