I found Ryan had some very strong points in this discussion.

Especially citing his past experience of being a Green member during Nader which played a role in Bush winning in 2000, which subsequently led to the Iraq invasion. Hindsight is always 20/20. Though the imperialist system had been in full force for decades already.

If Bush did not win in 2000 it'd just be delayed to 2004. At some point you have to risk changing course to avoid destruction.

If anything 2024 Genocide Joe provides a glimp in whether Gore truly would have been different. Democrats are doing now what we would expect from Republicans. If Trump won in 2020 we would be looking upon this Genocide as the cataclysmal voting mistake.
