Streaming piracy sites, not Netflix.

I was blown away by movie-web, and somehow more impressed by sudo-flix. No popups, no click traps, just working sites that I could use from Edge on my Xbox. Loading up movie night has never been easier.

Enter vidbinge, one of the worst streaming sites I've ever used in terms of popups and overlays and modals.

It just got me thinking, who is it that actually ruins these sites after going through the trouble to make them? Is it the devs who made it? Are third parties hacking it in some type of man-in-the-middle attack? Is it open source with no control over pull requests?
