The animated "Watchmen" movie is confirmed to be a two-parter, and will be CG animated instead of 2D. "Watchmen: Chapter 1" allegedly releases in August 2024, while Chapter 2 has been delayed to 2025. (lemmy.ml)

I would love to see a well made watchmen project. I have been working through the graphic novels and am really impressed with the writing and the art.

    I am COMPLETELY with you in principle, but am willing to hold that thought until we see something. I would be fine with a Spiderverse/TMNT:Mutant Mayhem art style. But yeah not ideal initially.

    I liked the comics, I liked the movie (director's cut) and the serie was a 10/10

    UPDATE: Apparently the animation style is gonna be similar to Batman Ninja and Battle of the Super Sons, so don't get your hopes up.

    /r/watchmen is currently in shambles.
