This is a community for all things Moomin.
The Moomins is a franchise created by finnish author/illustrator Tove Jansson. It features a vast amount of comics, TV series, movies, books and games, telling various stories mostly set in moominvalley.

I'm not sure it's about money, so much as nobility.
Moomin stories often feature "nobility" in the form of fantasy-story style kings, princesses, and princes.
That said, this story was the first time Tove was hit with some controversy, as they got criticized for being "too bourgeois".
