It's called a metronome. Don't be afraid to learn how to count.

With love, from your bassist.

Getting back into it! (midwest.social)
submitted 4 months ago by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

Haven't played in about 8 years and this is my first new guitar in 15. The drive came back all of a sudden and I just went out and got a guitar I've always wanted!

1998 US with fender lace golds in neck and middle…Seymour Duncan of some sort in the bridge. Plays and sounds a dream! Color is Plum Purple Metallic. Here it is next to my Jazzmaster.

I haven’t touched my Tele or Les Paul since I got this. So versatile and sexy to boot!

New Gear Day (i.imgur.com)

Upgraded from a Squier. Lucked out with a used AC4 combo too. It is just a MIM but perfect for me. Plays well, very sweet Tele tone, and hopefully inspires me to get past the basic skills I have at the moment on guitar.

r/guitars and many other music related subreddits have strict rules against self promotion. If you post a link to anything you've created, it gets removed before it can see the light of day. I'm thinking we should allow self-promotion here as long as it's guitar related. If you're excited about something you've played on guitar, whether it's a bedroom jam or a link to music you've released on streaming services, I want to hear it.

I can see how it might get out of hand and annoying if there's a lot of traffic, but in a small community I think it would be fun to share and listen to each other's playing.

What do you think?

Autograph is from Phil Keaggy. I am not much of a guitarist (synth player mostly) but these meet my needs!

Offset tele build (beehaw.org)
submitted 2 years ago by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

Mostly trying to figure out the best way to post here. Tried a direct upload of a photo yesterday, and it just ground to a halt.

Anyway!

This is a recent build I did, and I love it

  • Warmoth neck
  • Nomoonlaser body
  • Bootstrap pickups
  • Hipshot tuners
  • all other hardware is fender. Though the pickguard is some random dude on ebay that thankfully fit perfectly

I'm mostly trying to figure out the most efficient way of posting pics in these communities. I tried a direct upload yesterday that failed.

Anyway, this is a recent build I did, and it's become one of my top two guitars.

I miss this guitar… (pixtagram.social)

My first guitar was a Yamaha and it was cheap but someone set it up so good. I wish I didn’t sell it back ages ago. Probably won’t find it again. I liked how it had a black flake finish…so cheesy lol.
