Sometimes Cincinnati Biz Courier links are posted. These are mostly paywalled. IF you have a library card then you can view the articles by doing the following steps:

  • Visit the library magazine/newspaper section.
  • Click on Cincinnati Business Courier there and log in if needed.
  • For now, manually find the link that was posted here (I will try to figure out a way to auto format links or something so it takes you right to it at some point.)

We have a long way to go in a lot of ways in this city but it's good to see that we're making progress in some areas.

Notably

  • increase of 10% in fares
  • there will be fare capping- ie. using the EZFare app or new EZfare card you can tap and go and it will charge you the least amount

For example, if a rider uses the app or the card and rides a bus three times in a day, they will be charged $4.40 for the day pass, instead of $6.60 for three separate rides.

  • Children under 55 inches tall will ride free (there will be a marker as you step on the bus)

At this point since there is no real historical value that I know of, I wonder if it makes more sense to just tear it down and rebuild. The scale of a renovation would be an eye watering amount anyhow so a brand new building seems fit.

Prime location in all honesty.

Incompetence if you ask me. If they had specific ideas in mind then just state those when you put out for the RFP.

For the city of Cincinnati you have the mayoral primary.

The other locales around here I'm not sure but I do think a couple school levies are on the ballot.

EVERYONE in Ohio will have issue 2 which deals with locales being able to secure municipal bonds (only for wastewater, sewage, roads, bridges, etc.- ie. not sports stadiums, etc.)

Go do your civic duty- will only take a few minutes of your time.
