The majority of the issues in the article (if you read them you'd know) are about replication. They're about whether the timing of posts, deletions, bans, and things like that possibly not being replicated perfectly across all instances. Lemmy has the same issues, but I haven't noticed them causing problems yet. They would be even less of a problem in a private discord-like environment. permalink fedilink source parent
