[–] Appoxo@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 point 2 years ago Seagate rather invents new tech to create 30TB HAMR drives than making 3.5" SSDs and laying 3/4 PCBs with each 2TB TLC capacity in the caddy... Can't be that expensive in comparison to squeezing 10TB on a 2.5" drive. permalink fedilink source parent
