Let's hope so, the EU has been on a good streak lately regarding consumer rights.
Yeah the idea of only needing to purchase and carry one charging brick and USB-C cable for all devices I own is lovely.
Only issue kind of is smart watches.
I agree, but it is going to increase the charging time for a car by quite a bit unless the USB spec advances significantly.
