Gal Luft, 57, was charged with acting as an unregistered agent for the Chinese government, trafficking weapons and lying to federal agents.

In a Newsmax interview that same day that Comer linked to in the tweet, he acknowledged that Luft was the informant he said had disappeared in May. “The people on MSNBC who made fun of me when I said we had an informant that was missing, they should feel like fools right now. This is their worst nightmare," he said.

So his “informant” is indicted and arrested then slips his bail and this guy doubles down. Incredible.

Ultimately they'll spin it as this guy being framed, etc and his only chance of staying alive being fleeing to a non-extradition country. They were already implying he was disappeared, so that's not a stretch.
