It's not the rich countries fault that for many people its not safe in their countries. The rich countries are accepting a lot of people, and there are routes for same immigration. These countries cannot take everyone and anyone, or else they would collapse. Care to point out which current unsafe country doesn't have it's recent history involving Europeans fucking them over? Also rich countries take a pittance in compared to countries neighbouring conflicts, where's your concern about sharing the load there? I come from South Africa and watching the Dutch and the amount of resources that goes to just cleaning up from a single town party it's clear that so much more can be done.
