chapotraphouse is a podcast that quite a few people on this instance like because hexbear was initially set up as on online version of r/chapotraphouse after it got banned on reddit for "promoting violence" after the mods and a large portion of the users said that it was a good thing that John Brown killed confederate slaveowners. This comm became the general comm for hexbear a few years ago, and the rules reflect things that have caused arguments in the past.
