Can I crimp my pass through Rj45 using normal crimper. (alien.top)

So I am trying to connect my laptop to router using cat6. I unknowingly bought a regular crimping tool for my pass through Rj45 connector. So i there a work around for it and can I reuse it instead of wasting that tool

Yes you can do that. You have to follow some steps as shown in these pictures. Some pass through connectors don't allow the sheath to go in far enough to work properly. These ones are great.

Thanks. I did it but my laptop isn't recieving any signal. 😫. Idk what went wrong
