But they don't understand that in liberal states we also give those things to citizens. I'm a white, cis, male, born-American citizen. I get free college classes. I got those free government checks during covid, and welfare when I was out of work. I got a voucher for low income housing. I'm doing good now (and paying very high taxes for it) but when I was down, the State of California had my back. We give benefits to poor people and take extra taxes from rich people. My ancestors and maybe yours too for that matter, were poorly educated, not by choice. They migrated here bc they were desperate and it offered hope. And now many generations later, my parents' and all subsequent generations in the family have been college educated with many success stories. You just don't like brown people.
