In my defence i was 14 so thirsting after a 14 year old girl wasnt that bad. But yhea he is an outspoken pervert.
But while he does write a lot garbage i think he is somtiemes a genuinley good writer. For example his hassan retelling does a good job of preserving the fariy tale quality, something that even good writers fail at, for example firebird by lackey fails at this. And even in the elric saga only the first book manages to preserve this style.
Anthony also has some creative ideas. Like the society of telepatic horses that enslave humans. But they borrow the intelligence of their human hosts, otherwise they are just as smart as a horse.
The only one I've gone back to as an adult was the first in the Incarnations of Immortality series, which I loved as a kid, and honestly it was so bad I couldn't finish it.
I havent read that. I will check it out and getback at you once i finish soaring the heavens
