it was the air Dubai incident. not sure if it's properly called a hijacking since it was one of the pilots who attacked the other pilot. plane plunged during the scuffle and I think level flight was restored by a passenger that grabbed the yoke until relieved by off duty pilots who were deadheading in the back of the plane. part of the rudder or one of the stabilizers ripped off.
