I mean, I ain't a Hasan fan and I only skimmed this, but this kinda sounds like the typical shit that happens when an individual creator online gets to big to manage everything themselves and so tries to employ friends of there's to manage shit but wants to be "chill" about it since they don't want to be too "corporate" about it.

Bit of a pitfall of capitalism, if you just wanna be someone who makes shit on your own, if your shit gets too popular you end up having to become bourgeois cuz you need people to manage your brand.
