Why am I getting constant anime in my feed? (lemmy.ca)

I have no real interest in anime. As far as I can remember, I've never clicked on any anime related links on Lemmy, but it seems like every other post I see is about anime, a lot of them have to do with someone or something called Moe. I keep blocking them, but more show up. How do I stop it?

It would be nice if sub's could be marked with content tags which could then be filtered

Tags could be subject matter, like anime, but also language, or region.

This way I could setup filters for "my region or country only" and "only English and Spanish sub's" or "no regional sub's except Canada" and "no anime" to block every anime sub
