"chud" originates (or at least was massively popularised by) the chudjak

The movie came out before any of that. I have seen it defined as "conservative homeschooled uneducated dipshit" more than i have seen the work chudjak so idk

The point of my comment is that I challenge you to find one, because the way I see it it is literally impossible to.

Guess you're just incurious. If I thought there was no way to insult someone without invoking a term that refers to a historically marginalized group i simply wouldn't insult people.

My need to say hurtful things is less important than my responsibility to protect my comrades

You just did though, the dip in dipshit means something like "insane, stupid person", you could say it's antiquated and not used that way anymore, but I think many people would argue the same for words like idiot, or even more contested ones.

...and anyway, if, as the post says, "jobless behavior" is ableist because it implies being jobless is bad, and disabled people have a hard time getting jobs, wouldn't using "uneducated" as a pejorative as you just did be ableist too, since disabled people have a harder time getting educated?

Seriously, think about it, I don't think there is a way to be insulting without using a slur (by the post's definition of one), you certainly haven't given a good example, at least.

I'm not in a position to define the word slur but unless a word has been popularly used to denigrate or otherize a group of people it's not a slur.

Cracker, while an insult based on an immutable characteristic, is not a slur as white people are not an oppressed group.

I'm trying to say it's contextual, and so I disagree with the post saying that "jobless" or "psychotic" are ableist even when not used as such, since it's completely arbitrary if you see words that way. I would say that psychotic and retard trip the line enough for me to not use them (although I have not ableist friend who use it as a synonym for stupid), but that's mostly down to how it would come off to most people, stuff like crazy or stupid are fine to say, imo, since they're basically only used to mock how people act.

I'm not sure I got my point across well, lmk.

Also as a note, I agree with your example, but cracker would be a slur if it was used against a white minority in a country, and many languages do have equivalents that are slurs. It's also not really an insult, the only people I've seen get offended by that are snowflakes.

Do you think, from your perspective, this is somehow ableist or otherwise falls afoul of the definition of derogatory or slur or whatever term it is you think encompasses all insults?

Or is your definition of insult based on this and this alone?
