He's recently run an ad featuring her estranged mother saying that Amy is a liar. Pretty striking type of ad, but what's she saying she lied about? Well, Amy's step dad started r*ping her at age 9 until she was 12 until she was able to get away... Mom defended the pedo through an indictment from a grand jury and promptly skipped the state with him before the charges dropped. She stayed with him on the run until his death in the early 2000's. Literally hasn't had contact with her mom for 50 years or something.

And Vivek just rolls with the ad after the backlash because Trump of course sides with the pedos and their enablers.
