Despite distraction and distortion, voters know what issues will be informing their votes in this election

Elections too often get pigeonholed. The hot take, or simplistic analysis, would have it that just one issue – often the issue the source so happens to be most animated about – will decide the entire result.

Tens of millions of Americans will go to the polls next month. Will they be galvanized by affordability? Maybe it’s Iran. Or healthcare? Taxes, perhaps. Or crime.

It depends, of course, on whom you ask. The US electorate is not a monolith. Just as different voters are grappling with different pressures and realities, they have different priorities and concerns.

You ought to see the commercials for some of these sneaky amendments in Missouri, an issue that's been voted down multiple times only to resurface with new "freightening buzz words", Amendment 3; "don't let those lunatic leftists allow transgender mutilation on youth! Vote YES on amendment 3!"

Oh I believe it. You'll see donnie at one of his hate rallies talking about how someone's son is turned into a girl without the parents having any idea about it. Johnny goes to school one day, and I guess is kidnapped by the trans teachers before he goes to lunch, and shazam, comes back home as Susie.

Just an everyday occurrence at today's public schools, for reals.
