Like great, glad you aren't openly defending the nazi anymore but it's really pathetic that this is what it took. At least you had some escape hatch of 'he's an immoral individual' to escape from your rotten ideological position that lead you here.

For what it's worth, the fascism did lead to a decline in his following and made it so sponsors and many other media people didn't want to touch him, which he wept about on-stream as basically being antisemitic persecution. It should have destroyed his career immediately but didn't, so that's a shame, but the show definitely lost a lot of its standing.
