I have watched numerous movies where literally all I wanted was to enjoy more of the world that was created. I wouldn't even mind if there was literally no plot involved.

Movie wraps up with a perfect ending? Just release an extended ending!

Sometimes I just want to watch those characters enjoy their happy ending and get to explore more of the lore and the world.

Tap for spoilerAll I want is a sequel where it explores the world of Erid before he gets sent home. Talk to more eridians, learn some of their culture and traditions. Maybe even have permanent communications established between them and earth and scientists and people just talk with them.

I don't even care if there's much of a plot, just story.

That's perfect. I would watch just for the random everyday things happening. I love the adventure of exploring the pokemon world. I want a game or live action series that is about finding all the pokemon in their natural habitats. Battling is popular, but doesn't even need a place in the series I imagine.
