Unlike the other re-naming projects which were just Google and Apple changing the names on a couple maps, millions of people actually live in New Mexico. There's a huge bureaucracy built using that name. Just the sheer logistical hurdle of changing all the letterhead and flags makes this is non-feasible. Trump can rage all he wants but there's no way this goes through because it's too much work. America doesn't make anything any more, everybody is a lazy failchild imposter. We can't do it. We can't change all the paperwork.
