Considering the fact that I have had it work sometimes for myself (as I noted in another comment, I sometimes have to break the task into even much smaller pieces than that, and it still doesn't work a majority of the time), have read others - even in this very post who say it works for them - I think your comment is quite unfair.

Does it not work for you at all? That's fair. Does your experience mean it doesn't work for anyone and is therefore worthless? Most definitely not.
