eh i used to think the same way but i had to figure out the hard (experimental) way that even if there's no (observable) thing telling women that they can't make the first move, they still don't. at least not the cis girls that i've had crushes on or sth, idk why that is. i have to say that the story is different for transfems, and i don't mean to sound like a "oh transwomen are different", but i've seen transfems make the first move couple of times, while i've barely ever seen a cis woman do the same.

that's not an ideological thing to say, just a series of observations (with lots of data behind it).
