That... Is so fucking sad.

Imagine being a bride at your wedding and the goom, your future hubbie, gets all teary eyed over a piece of hardware. I'd cancel the whole show right then and there, walk out, never look back. Emigrate if I have to.

    You know what would actually be sad? If you got your son a fucking super expensive gift for his wedding and he barely reacted. It's entirely normal to give gifts at a wedding. That's literally what a registery is for! In fact the entire POINT of a wedding for most of history was to have a ceremony where the two young people would come together and both of their families would shower them in gifts to help them start their life together.

    It's sad that tech companies have manipulated the markets worldwide to the point where a 5090 is a luxury worthy of a wedding.

    It's touching to see a married couple happy to support each other's hobbies and interests.

    you're getting lambasted in the comments but hyperbole aside, I have to kind of agree. An appropriate repsonse moght be a snail ans a thabk you to the giver befire the next gift. This looks like some weird performative staged nonsense though.

    I showed the video to my gf and she said asked, what's a video card and why is he crying over it.

    I am guessing though his new wife is well aware going in, she's not #1 on his list.
