I have lost my faith in Torvalds when he wrote this:

This is NOT some kind of “social warrior” project, never has been, and never will be.

Taking bets now, how long until we get a Torvalds rant about too many brown people in the kernel developer community?

    Big corporations are already the ones paying his salaries, the biggest contributors to the Linux foundation, they have been steering it for a long time to focus on the server needs of Linux. I guess the Linux foundation stance on ai is there to guarantee the flow of money from those corporations doesn't dry-up.
