Over the years, the then-stewards tried to find ways to give that ship a new lease in life, anywhere from refurbishing and powering it up again for cruise to a floating hotel/casino, but to no avail as -- except for a few enthusiasts -- no one cared about its reputation of being the fastest and then-modern ocean liner on the planet until they were forced to sink it after failing to pay for docking, and only then mainstream attention got focused again.
