So it's funny because I actually checked this once, before the kirkening. There was a very iconic picture of him and his face was actually intentionally shrunk on about half of them that I saw floating around on an image search. But it was very minor. The funny thing is that his official accounts actually reposted them sometimes. The edit didn't seem to actually make that much of a difference because his face was actually just small; the original and the edit both appeared out of proportion.... So nobody could really tell.

What do you mean? That's the late Charles K. Kirk, captain of the Enterprise, is he not?
