Always but super cheap vodka because, well, it's vodka. Surely the difference can't be significant. Anyway I bought some Beluga and wow, I'm not repulsed by this. It's actually pretty smooth and the flavor isn't like splashing acetone in my face. What a revalation.

I get china's own red star baijiou. It tastes bad, also it is bad.

i've drank some questionable shit but red star bailjiu is the stuff that was gonna kill me i think. it tasted like animal feed and jet fuel and was completely unmixable in any cocktail i could think to make. i have no idea how tf i was supposed to drink that stuff

    Ming river baiju (recommended by chinese netizens on red note!) tasted like cough syrup and I will never recover from it tbh. Can't recommend avoiding it enough. So many people enjoy baiju that it has to be good but I don't get the appeal.

    Putting {二锅头|èr guō tóu} in a hip flask to force yourself to take smaller sips of it so as to not get too drunk too quickly in the park or at your friend's kid's christening or working as a line cook or watching Avatar: The Way of Water in a cinema. Real professional alcoholic hours

    Mixing it is a bad plan. That just makes it stay around longer.

    I gave a shot to a friend the other day. She looked at me betrayed and almost cried.

    You sip it gently with a spicy meal. Or you slam a doubble shot with the spirit of communism as a chaser. Only viable options. It tastes bad and you just have to endure the suffering.

    Why climb a mountain whe you could walk a gentle path?

    Plus it is cheap and strong. I never like any alcohol. I hate the taste. So I am just as happy getting it over with. Plus it is chinese and that warms my tanky heart
