    If you can vote for politician A and politician B, and both of them are bought by the fossil fuel companies, to what extent are you to blame?

    And if citizens can be held accountable for the actions and choices that their goverment has made, even if they have no real say in them, and that government has committed war crime after war crime abroad, killing literal millions, does that mean citizens are a legitimate target for retaliatory attacks? Was the Dresden firebombing justified? Was 9/11 justified? Were the atomic bombs dropped on Japan justified?

    hence my focus on voting, because that's what he was talking about. But also your broader comment is not a good argument for ageism. Plenty of members of the boomer generation exercised other political options than voting. They were not successful, but many of them did try. At any rate, blaming an entire generation for policy failures is about as valid as blaming Trump's policy failures on folks who voted for Harris.
