I would like to hear the rationale for putting Buddhist theocracy to the right of Christian theocracy. Not saying it's wrong; I don't know enough about Buddhism to have a stance. But I'm familiar with Christianity and it's hard to imagine anything out-fasching it.

"buddhism" is just a term to describe any worldview that comes from south-east asia. there's more variety within buddhism than within christianity, and there you can find a whole lot of disagreements and different ways of life already.

Idk more kinds of Christians maybe? The spectrum is real broad. Ones like the UCC (United Church of Christ) come to mind as being alright. Still wouldn't want any religion based government system though.

The post image was way better. Using the political compass unironically is dumb because reducing complex ideologies onto a 2d plane is so insanely reductive that the whole thing is just stupid.

That just depends on how the axes are set. I could see it being the case that the centre is defined by the current status quo, which neoliberalism definitely is.

what's the belief that capitalism can work and can stay aligned with individual freedoms whilst providing a social security net, as long as a strict upper cap on wealth is unrelentingly enforced^[say, by an omniscient omnipresent kill drone], such that the richest person in the world can only be 5x richer than the median person?
