I'm using an 8BitDo M30 (and a Retro-Bit Saturn-style pad) to play Saturn games. Last month everything worked fine — Mednafen, SSF, Yaba Sanshiro and RetroArch cores all recognized the buttons correctly.

This month I swapped my PC's hard drive and installed the latest versions. Now buttons are either mapped incorrectly or some don't register at all. I've tried:

· Downgrading to older emulator versions · Switching the M30 between D-input and X-input modes · Manual remapping in RetroArch · Testing on Android — same problem · Reinstalling Windows

The controller works perfectly in Steam games (e.g. Street Fighter 6), so the hardware itself is fine.

Has anyone else run into this with recent RetroArch builds? Is it an autoconfig issue?

Goat controller, I recently bought one too: it's the bluetooth version? In any case mine has a built-in remap function, try to press "-" button plus "up" for 5 sec (you'll see the red indicator blinkin), it should reset the mapping.
