Some people call that mindfulness and pay professionals to achieve that state. Others, like me, consider it hell to be constantly aware of this without the ability to turn it off.

    It's definitely not mindfulness, pretty much the total opposite of it actually. Mindfulness means being present in the moment, but this thought is literally worrying about the future. Worrying about the future is exactly what mindfulness is supposed to solve.
