Don't you mean a scubado?

I had an EG hatch back in the day, now a WRX. The Civic was more fun. The Subaru makes me feel grown up. Gotta do all these adult things like change the gearbox fluid when you're actually supposed to, else the gearbox explodes like a dropped beer.

Do they really die that early? I thought civics were supposed to be simple and reliable

It's a 2012. It's the first year of the 9th gen so yours would have been between 06-11. Not a lot of exterior differences between 2011 and 2012, but the instrument cluster did get a pretty radical overhaul.
