The rationale is interesting. I'm glad they kept the logo as it's recycling ♻️

I have a tangential question. My understanding is that Google is requiring every Android app to be registered with them, and they're going to start blocking any that aren't. Are those apps going to continue to be installable on Nura?

    Do you mean through Waydroid? Because that's how Android apps run on Nura, out of the box it's Linux and doesn't run android apps

    I'm sorry, I was mixing up Nura with GrapheneOS. Since Graphene is modified Android I wondered if there might be an issue. But since Nura is not Android my question doesn't make much sense.

    Totally fair, not super hard to mix up. To answer the question from what I've seen both Graphene and Lineage are not including the code to box out non credited apps. But they don't have a large enough user base to keep the devs motivated if I had to guess

    Google can only enforce this on devices they control. PostmarketOS is not Android. Even if it was - if I install an app through an alternative app store or install it via "sideloading", there is nothing Google can do. Even LineageOS, which is based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) won't care about Googles new toy.
