You can a modern tv way way easier. I do it all the time. And you don't risk electrocution or exposure, and it can be done in about 15 minutes for most issues.

Don't buy CRT or OLED. Problem solved.

Just buy a tv, then don't connect it to anything. But likely that you are going to connect something smart to it, so it doesn't matter.

Your best bet would be a commercial display. Though it'll be double the price, at least, and you'll need an hdmi switch and a soundbar more like as not.

There are some that have very little connectivity. They are very expensive commercial units made by Sharp and even Samsung.

What's a quality panel? You mean you can't natively get clear resolution on your TV? Doesn't sound very smart to me.
