I've sometimes thought about asking the folks who run the blorptube if April 12 (Yuri's Night) could be annually set aside for White Sun of the Desert and maybe some quality space exploration movies or documentaries.

Gagarin himself never lived to see that movie, but it's a longstanding tradition for everyone launching in a Soyuz from Baikonur to watch it together the night before a launch. Plus it's really funny.
