Imo some of the ppl that join frats need them, it's the only adversity they'll face. I've known npc type ppl with no personalities that join a frat and come out actual ppl, idk if its the frat or just being in college tho. There are plenty of ppl that make no friends and have minimal interactions so the forced interactions through a frat could be helpful. Kinda forces them not to be incels/redpill (I think most ppl would imagine thats the type of person who joins a frat, but its the type of dude they hate and wouldn't allow near them), at least the ones I knew of would basically drop anyone who couldn't talk to girls or bring them to their events, so you have to be able to be friends with woman.

And a lot of the sa that happens/happened wasn't people in the frats, it would be random ppl they let in, which is also why only frat members or people who know them and come with 2-3 girls are allowed these days. It's like a social credit check. Still happens, still have sus frats and members, but the rate is much lower for a reason.
