Yeah, that's what really stop the tech for majority of the world, not whether they want to do it or not, because as of now it will trip most city's power station everytime people want to charge that fast. I read the same reporting by reuter and they mentioned the car maker planned to do it by having a battery storage facility to store the power required and also solar power to supply it, i guess it makes sense to isolate it from the grid, so it's gonna be a very expensive build on the thing that's already very expensive to build. In poorer nation this is unobtainium, most will already satisfied with abundance of station. They're at the phase of "move fast and break things", a phase which silicone valley are very familiar with.
